About Standard Horizon Products
Seawide carries a wide selection of Standard Horizon’s signature products, including their handheld and fixed mount high frequency (HF) and very high frequency (VHF) radios. These radios cover the most important frequencies in marine communication and act as an important safety tool, allowing users to communicate with other ships and bases when other channels of communication are unavailable.
Handheld VHF Radios
Features on many of Standard Horizon’s handheld VHF radios include NOAA weather channels and Weather Alert; US, Canadian, and International marine channels, and an easy-to-operate menu system. These radios are also submersible for up to 30 minutes, designed to float, and come with a 3-year waterproof warranty, so customers can use them anywhere without worrying about water damage.
Fixed Mount VHF Radios
Standard Horizon’s fixed mount VHF radios share many of the same features as the handheld models, and some additionally have GPS connectivity, Digital Selective Calling (DSC) test call, and oversized full dot matrix display. Standard Horizon has affordable, compact mounted radios for use on yachts and powerboats, as well as commercial-grade mounted radios for professional marine use. If you would like to stock any of these VHF radios, contact a Standard Horizon wholesaler at Seawide.
Standard Horizon manufactures several internal and external GPS Chartplotters. One of their most notable navigation products is their CPN Series Touchscreen Multimedia/Networking Chartplotters. This chartplotter has built-in WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, optional C-Map 4D cartography, Display DSC Distress and Position report calls, and connectivity to iPads and iPhones through a mobile app.
